Hey folks! You're friendly neighborhood :MoJo: here -
Just wanted to drop a line to you all and say
1) how grateful Aaron and I are for your massive hospitality and love and green goodies while we were visiting the Paul Sweet.
2) how deeply inspired I am after seeing people attack their crafts and their BM ventures with such fervor...we don't see alot of passion like that in NYC...or rather, maybe the passion is there - but folks are either too lazy or too "busy" to crank out the type of product yall are cranking out on the west coast.
So again, MANY MANY THANKS.
Glad to be connecting with talent on the other side of the tracks - since my dancers and I are planning a very special trip to San Fran after BM. Wondering if there are any filmmakers interested in getting down with our craziness around then.
We did the promo for America's Best Dance Crew a lil while back...check the vid here
but it would be really great if we didn't have to rely on such disgusting means as MTV to get our faces out there. What we're looking for folks, is real art - there wasn't even dancing in that commercial! Honestly - though super cool to see yourself on tv, it's kind of redonk to have a big corporation devalue your art.
SO - change is needed. Thoughts on this?
Millz - I hear you're working on some stuff for Miss Riley Girl...got anything we can preview?
