Hate to cross blog and what not - but my time here in Santa Cruz has allowed me to really converse with folk who have a lot to say when it comes to respect for one's art and the magic behind the performance.

Coda said something to me earlier this week about reaching his audience...and how folks misinterpret his creations...or maybe, set up false expectations. Well, Coda said alot of things..lol...but it got me thinking like...holy cow - here's someone that doesn't play. This is life to him. His music is his world.

I started examining how he presents himself and his works...and dude, I gotta thank you - as far as I can tell you've been welcoming and genuine and because that's the type of person you are - that's the type of art you create.

So anyway...I'm not like, starting a new friend wank off sesh or anything - but simply stating that if you all are feeling like your art needs to shine - like you can or want to effectively speak about your artistic process, your fears, desires, etc. Hit me up - I'll send you an invite.
