So as some of you recall, when I was at the sweet right before xmas, we made a valiant effort to get laser tag working and go light-paint the sky view drive in. Unfortunately, despite getting the software, the software necessary to run that software, a laser pointer (big ups, millz!) and having the proper camera, projector and cables, the shit didn't work. I dunno if it has to be run on an Intel mac or what, but more than that, the setup directions in the documentation conflicted with the setup directions in the program itself. Frustrating.

BUT HARK! There's hope! I was talking to jamie dubs, an ally and grl conspirator, and he informed me that the original laser_tag program has now hit 2.0, and runs on a mac! we were using laser_marker, which the austrian cell wrote in processing. crazy austrians. so go HERE, to Theo's site, and he has uber-thorough documentation and download.

basically, we had all the pieces last time except for functioning software. now we have the final shard and the dark crystal will be complete. course, i need you guys to set it up, but the set up walk through on Theo's site is the best I've ever seen for laser tag.

so go bomb the shit out of the skyview, aight!?!! ALSO, I'm mentioning this now not only because I found out about laser_tag 2.0 today, but also because it gives y'all enough time (theoretically) to test it and take that shit TO PORTLAND!

I've been putting some serious thought into moving to portland before the year is out, and if I do you can bet your ballsack I'll be starting a GRL up there. But you guys could totally prime it for explosivity by given em a taste. you wanna rep yo city? you wanna bring the mothafuckin ruckus to MiniBike CrewCon? Bring em lasers. They won't know what hit em.

I've been thinking about this for awhile, I thought I'd at least put it somewhere safer than between fleeting dreams:

oliver is slightly crazy, brilliant, has assbergers, and perverts innocent ideas into diabolical plans. he mentions the mormon church's connection to each other through satellite sundays and has the idea for a interparty, a multipart:, revolving around each person being their individual civilly disobedient militant party monster. -it couldn't be shutdown anymore than they could shut down the internet.

he theorizes a new kind of net-trading thats based on garageband multitracks instead of mp3's, so they are completely reengineer-able; videotracks instead of trading youtube clips, entire xmls are shared with a communal databank, entire mashups are shared. photos, videos, flashtoons, games, audio.

he also has visions and sees paul sweet. paul sweet talks to him.

he pisses off police but remains clean shaven and constitutional whilst hanging with pirates.

the police talk about this around a table, planning on taking him out and everyone at the next party. busting them for boos, drugs, underagers, etc... big plans, but never understanding how huge this really is.

i've been out of the loop for some time now, doesn't help my car crashed during the storm.. the body seemed to look pretty okay but the front axle was really bent up, can't open the front door certainly cant drive it...

thats gonna take some time, thats all...

cancer sucks but I'm doing remarkably well and am still under the impression I won't need balding chemotherapies... I've done only 3 iv retuxmibs, the next one's this week, originally I was originally told I'd only have to do six or else I'd probably need to do something hardcore, things are looking more like around 6 more weeks maybe 6 more treatments, but I'm not complaining and I'll take what I can get... it's pretty debilitating though and I can't function very well afterwards, even for a day, maybe it's just the shock to my system but after I pretty much just passout for 18 -26 hours best case senario...

I did meet up with my friend ross's mother who told me she had a friend or sister about her age who had nhl 2 years ago, and she went on the same treatment and didn't lose her hair and is fine, which was encouraging I guess is the word, cause she's older and it just made me feel like this shit was chill....

eli is going to india for 2 months starting soon... I had considered goin up to the city for a week to stay with scotty. I would have gone last week and I'd like to go before school starts but the car issue, he doesn't have a ride up there...
