Also, re: music sharing on the massive - we should get a more scalable solution than posting indiv. audio files. I know R2 has an ftp, and so do I. One of my goals for it is to upload my entire music library so people I know can nab and nom on all that shit. Also, for folks to be able to post multitracks. Not that we can't do that already with yousendit, rapidshare, our own ftp, etc. But I think everything should be in one place, or at least have an established and extensible protocol. For instance, I could create a new fpt user that can take up say, 30% of my storage (500gb, 98% unused). Give all you guys the login/pass and we can backup all our music collections to that, and enjoy the ever evolving collection of us and our peeps.
Or we could all just use soulseek all the time.
