Dub Cloud Planning Session
Hey Massive,
We're in the lab [Mad Zach, David, Coda], planning for this party on the 8th. We spent all day today clearing out the Grove beta 2 (on the new Mad Zach property). It looks awesome, we are stoked. Music will be abundant. Live performances from Mr. Flex, Lyrical Eye, Kid E, N2, Track 4, Coda, Mad Zach, Jeff Wiley, Love Gutter, Trip Delight, and more.
We will sell $3 condiments and 50 cent burgers. Free Masonic proceedings will also ensue. Narwallagrams jammin, 909 syncage. More typos. The party will start around noon (for those early birds who want to start early). Kegs also.
$5 at the door gets a day long adventure into sound and good company. All money goes to Juracid Bikes Burning Man Camp.
See you soon.

I GOT MY BURNING MAN TICKET. So if anyone was trippin, they can cease. Now I just have to get a plane ticket out there. Working on it, yo, I'm working on it.
Today, right as I was getting off work, a bigass biodeisel bus pulls up right on my block. Been thinking a lot about BM transportation. I chat em up, give em a free coffee, and then get down to biz. "Y'all are going to burning man, right?" Turns out not only are they going, they'll have another bus at that point and will be leaving from San Francisco the day before it starts so as to get in the minute gates open at midnite. AND THEY HAVE EXTRA SEATS. Their website is biotour.org, and I got dude's email so I'm gonna inquire further. Last I heard we were short on seats in the caravan...this could be a deus ex machina.
Oh wamp wamp...just checked out the site and while they do have one of my favorite banjo songs ever, they're asking $250 for round trip transpo betweetn SF and BRC. And they'll be running a shuttle all week to and from the reno airport. For $75. Anyway, like I said, I'll email them and see what's up. They were mega-psyched on juracid bikes and santa cruz in general.

::Drill that Ho!::
"DPX systems seems to deal exclusively in devices powered by handheld drills. In addition to the mini bike in the video below, they've made systems for wheelchairs, toolboxes, and hoists. The device costs $630, but I'm sure most of you just need prompting that something is possible to be well on your way to building your own version."

PSYPHY UPDATE!
The DUB CLOUD is now being scheduled for the 1st of the month in order to allow sufficient prep and setup time for the flyer, promo, and the space itself. ANYONE who wants to get involved with this RIGHT NOW and help out in making this a night to a remember, POST! We essentially need someone to work the door, a food table (if possible) and offer up freemasonic multimedia for the masses to phreak out to.
Mister Mikey Millz and I have also been scheming for a reggae/daytime/dubbed out burn benefit at the Sweet to power our asses to the playa, converge creative energies, build some freak bikes, and whatever else comes along. Let's put heads together and psyphen this all up a little, shall we?
Coda over and out.

Dub Cloud Flyer beta 1
R2, over and out
hello massers, it's the droid here, reporting my withdrawl from the Juracid theme camp and the Burningman theme camp. I will be around a good portion of August to help out with pre-production, building dome, building projector boxes, helping organize/promote fundraising events, but I will not be out on the playa in 2008.
Short and simple: I need all my chi to get through the long hard winter coming up.
My maddest of props go out to the whole crew and extra bonus points to Mad Zach and Coda, this is your time to shine
I will see you soon. ohm.

ilogical chaos
so glad that r2 is in ny and around and able to read the massive, i was worried he was growling on the streets in la...
about burning man?
have I been listening? of course?
am I on nexusnebula?
you can bet your bawlz...
but I have questions, like since my car is hyphed and probably out of commission indefinitely, I and my girlfriend need to figure out how we and the projector(s???) will get up there..
hoping for bus...
someone was talking about mr emery from soquel high and his burning man grants? lets call him (i cant remember if this is emery or the kid who introduced me to himm, if you dont call him i will, but at least its unlosable on the massive 588 9552)
(grandvj beta is out now by the way, more on that later)
but what matters is how much board is at nexus, is it just 150 for the whole group? is that include dinners? or what really is the deal on budgeting...
I'm in no worry about getting my tickets, try and get me worried, just try...
I'm just waiting before I jump in, I need to have my ride and water figured out, then I'll be ready to bust, but my schedule is cleared for the burning man, and it looks good...
promise: as soon as I know all this sheet pre and proceeding is covered, I'm buying them... Relax. we got like 47 days (and 8 hours 42 minutes 1 second...)
but yeah explain to me what the deal is before I just throw myself at babylon and destroy my equipment in a duststorm....
so make sure cause my car wont be there, we have:
set up parachutes,
a GENERATOR
A bus ride would be nice
a place to hitch my bike (I would hope this wont be a problem) would be nice too....

Hey Everyone,
Just got back from performing with Coda at the Pure Love and Energy Act out in Sequoia National Park which was awesome. Met a lot of new people. Soon to play a show up in Petaluma before returning to Santa Cruz. I have decided to post what I'm working on for album art to get some feedback. Please let me know if you have ideas or think I should change it/something about it. New mixes on the way!

East/West super orgy
Hey folks!
Just wanted to put you on - seems my plan to merge NYC with Cali is well underway and the rest of the world is doing what they can to say a big fuck you to the whole east coast/west coast rivalry bull too...
I present to you ... the most epic shit I've experienced in a long long time.
Evan - aka the mighty mighty :Milkman: snatched my ass up and hauled me out of the crib to Love, a shiny lil diamond in the rough and redonk streets of the East Village here in NYC.
In a nutshell - Subswara is a force to be reckoned with. They opened and closed and their sticky riddims are on point! Though choppy fades between songs were experienced, these fellas were def puttin' in the work to make our bodies jerk. And wait....success! If you haven't checked em out yet - I strongly suggest you do it NOW.
As for the Mob - Kraddy and ed1T put it down hard though I can't lie - there was def a lil kookiness at the start. Sound went out - choppy first half hour...but it didn't take away from the fact that they dropped "Mike Aaron and Eddy" as their first bomb and later sampled awesomeness by Erykah Badu, Pharell, Notorious B.I.G, Tupac, and loads more I can't remember right now. The NY crowd didn't know where to place their glitchyness...but oh - they felt it in their bellies fast and in no time the Glitch Mob had the floor packed and people going bonkers!
I'm thoroughly wrecked. My limbs are sore...I think I had a couple of epileptic fits from the grimey, glitchy visuals that they threw down...my back feels like it's broken in 3 places...But there's a big ass smile on my face because for the first time in my clubgoing experiences in NYC - east met west and gave eachother a big fat smooch...It was all - "aint nothin' but a chicken wing" - friendly competition style. The crowd was suuuuper diverse and most everyone seemed concerned with making connections, sharing, throwing the hot lovey vibes back toward the rockmeisters, and shakin' it HARD and fast...superfast - that is to say...
MO' BASS!
Love did a good job of fostering the atmosphere and when I checked out their site I read this .
Ahhh...heartwarming.
So - that said - MAD ZACH where you at?! All my Cali n!ggaz...we got some work to do. Come the frrrrrrrrrruck thru - ya dig? Peace straight from the streets my friends <3
Pics to come soon!

Burning Man, get with it you lag ass mofo's
OK so here's the deal, If you plan to camp with Juracid bikes, we are confirmed to be within the Nexus village. they are stoked on us. Maybe some of you didn't get the e-mail, but you have to register for the nexus yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/ search for "nexusnebula" They need a head count and need people to sign up for this. also our $100 is due by the beginning of August. Millz and I will be back around the Sweet in the beginning of August and hustling hard to get everything ready. I want to have a workshop or two discussing bike repair basics with everyone before we go. We have a van confirmed to drive that is capable of pulling a trailer, we have lots of bikes to fix up, and I personally have a bunch of crap to sell in an effort to make money for the trip. I realize that everyone is all over the place right now, and that we're all super busy with our own shit, but it's time to get on it. sign up for the nexus group today! We'll get some e-mails out to y'all too, just encase you don't see this post right away. Other than that, we're having a great time out here on the road. We just got back to Seattle last night, and are looking forward to some rowdy flaming bike action tonight. We've added more videos to howthewestcoastrocks so check it out! peace.

massive production?
yo massively excited right now...
MY production company is on making a film for the lady who made this film:
this one is about a Transgendered to male who deals with her hypocritical christian sister's family...
I've signed maitland on as sound design, but I'll still need help with lighting shots, camera work and maybe even editing...
I'd be interested in talking to you, Coda.. I don't know for sure how it will work but maybe if you're interested you could hit me up... -See if the director would be down and if theres room...
it'le be a 20-25 day shoot...
if you have time and you're up for it, I'll be needing help with lighting and stuff. I'd be hiring you out of my production salary and as everything is always, its not Massive money but it's an exchange none the less...
One problem is it might reach into august, If it does thats technically burning man time, so I'll be on talking to her about htat soon, make sure we can have that one off...
pickups after the burn!
A Drone for the SOFA Crew
Party People,
I have for you a hot new track dedicated to Jade. So put it in your pipe and shake it. Best when served with a chilled bong rip and a finger lick of mali.
Enjoy!
